KLD Animal Therapy is owned and operated by Kelly, who is a McTimoney Chiropractor for Horses and Dogs, Working throughout Tyneside, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear and surrounding areas, Kelly has completed a Master’s Degree in Animal Manipulation (Chiropractic) at the McTimoney College in Oxford. The McTimoney College of Chiropractic is the only educational institution in Europe offering validated and accredited degree level courses in animal chiropractic care.
She also has a level 6 Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Therapy, also awarded by the McTimoney College of Chiropractic. These courses involved the study of the anatomy and physiology of both dogs and horses, with particular emphasis on the musculoskeletal system.
Kelly has an extensive background working with animals. She has worked and trained as a veterinary nurse and also runs Pawsitively Purrfect PetCare, offering dog walking and pet care services. She is also a qualified Clinical Animal Behaviourist, holding a level 6 diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour, and offers behavioural modification and training for dogs.
Kelly has owned dogs for 25 years, competing and training in a variety of dog sports such as agility, competitive obedience, rally obedience, gun dog work, breed conformation shows, sled dog rallies, and IGP
