Consent from your vet is a legal requirement before your animal can be treated. Please ensure that you have sent your vet the link to my referral form well before the day of treatment.
This is required as there many instances in which chiropractic treatment may be inappropriate or needs to be modified.
If your animal is lame it needs to be seen by a vet before treatment.
Please ensure a suitable, quiet working area undercover is available, with a flat area for the animal to walk and trot.
If an animal shows as lame in the walk and trot up during a treatment session then the they will be referred back to the vet and no treatment administered.
Please refrain from exerted activity or feeding directly before your appointment time. Ideally allow at least 2 hours rest prior to their session and avoid booking appointments at meal times/turn out times.
Please ensure your animal is dry. A wet animal can not be massaged as it will not be not effective and we will not see the desired response. If Kelly attends your animal and is unable to treat due to the animal being very wet/muddy, the full treatment cost will still be due. Animals do not need to be spotless or perfectly groomed and some form of mud/dirt on them is fine.
You (or a capable handler) will need to be in attendance for the duration of the treatment for safety issues.
Kelly reserves the right to cancel the treatment at any point for safety reasons. If the massage is cancelled for safety reasons you may be required to pay travel costs only.
Payment is by BACS or cash and should be made on or before the day of treatment.
A 24 hour cancellation policy applies. If your appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full payment will still be due. Please try and give as much notice as possible if you need to rearrange your appointment. Exceptional circumstances will be taken into consideration
